She completed her BA degree in Law and International Relations and Political Studie in 2012; Honours in International Relations and Political Studies in 2013 and her LLB in 2014 at Rhodes University.
Mbali is also the co-founder of the movement students for Social Justice, which worked in solidarity with grassroots movement in Grahamstown.
